Many young people from foster care don’t learn the necessary life skills to transition into adulthood. Our group workshops, called Life After Care courses, designed by those who have been through the foster care system, teach critical topics on the transition to adulthood, such as healthy relationships, budgeting and car maintenance.

Our courses are not currently open to the public, but are instead taught through a variety of community partnerships including Utah Division of Child and Family Services, Catholic Community Services, First Star Academy and Common Thread.

Each young person who attends a Life After Care Course will leave with a Life After Care Workbook to ensure the information obtained can be retained and accessed at any time.
